Tutu #3 Pink and Purple Tutu Skirt and Bows for Naomi

It’s been a while since I opened my “Drawer of Crafts”  and made something coz I’ve been very busy for the last couple of months. As much as I wanted to make something, I can’t coz I don’t have time and I am missing it.

I have a cute little friend who’s attending ballet class and I promised her before that I am going to make her a Tutu Skirt and some bows but for some reasons, I haven’t done anything yet until last week on her birthday,  I finally made her one.

I made a simple Tutu Skirt with a combination of Pink, Purple and light Purple tulle and used a 3/4 pink ribbon as a waist bank and I added some pink ribbons to add designs in between the punk tulles.

My Daughter’s Tutu Dress

Finally made a tutu dress for my daughter! She’s been bugging me about it but I don’t have time to make one for her until this week.

She will wear this on her special day tomorrow, 18th of May in celebration of finishing Kindergarten and soon moving up to 1st grade!

I am excited to see her wearing this on stage tomorrow!

It’s supposed to be a tube dress but since Ishi has a cast on her left arm, I will be putting a removable strap to hold on to the dress to make her comfortable. I also made a pair of white  flower clips to put  in the middle of the tube line to cover the ribbon knots while the other flower clip will be placed on her hair. Isn’t so cute?

Materials:

For Tutu Dress

2 (25 yard)rolls  of PINK tulle

2 (25 yard)rolls  of  PURPLE tulle

2 and 1/2(25 yard)rolls  of  light BLUE tulle

3 ft of light blue ribbon

3 ft of white lace

3 dozens of small ready made white flowers

For Clips

2 clips

2 flowers

2 ft of blue ribbons

Tutu Dress for Ishi’s Graduation

I am planning to make a tutu dress for my daughter Ishi on her Graduation day on May 18th. Though she has a cast of her left arm right now,  I still wanna  make her look pretty on her very special day. I am thinking of buyer her a dress or making her one. I searched tutu dress on the internet and here are some photos of tutu dress that I wanted for my daughter…

Tulle and Ribbons for Tutu Skirts

I bought my sewing machine last month but never tried it yet. I was thinking of making pair of pajamas for my kids so I bought some cloth too but I don’t have time to start yet for I still have to make beanies for my clients and for gifts this coming Christmas. I love sewing, I am not so knowledgeable yet but I am sure I can learn when I try to. Just like crocheting, I didn’t know I can be able to make different kinds of beanie and scarf designed on my own and some bows too. Now I am planning to learn how to make tutu dress :)

I bought some tulle online and I got it for only $1 for 25 yards, great find right? I love online shopping but I also miss Divisoria.

So Many Ideas.. So Little Time

I don’t know what to do first, I got bunch of ideas in mind but I can’t do them is such little span of time. My mind is thinking so fast while my body is cramming and panicking.  I love arts and crafts, I love making stuff with my own designs and ideas. I started doing a lot of stuff since I got here maybe because I have nothing else to do at home aside from watching Movies and Facebook-ing all day. Aside from doing it as past time, I am also doing it for a living.

Here’s what I love to do right now and counting…..

Crocheting

Sewing

Balloon Decorating and Twisting and Party Favors

Bows and Clip Making

And the latest – Tutu making

Now tell me how to do them all?
